Build your LiFePO4 power system
A configurator built on two years of real client builds, the same methodology behind the paid guide.
How it works
Add your loads
Pick common appliances or add your own, set the wattage and how many hours they need to run.
Get your build
The configurator sizes the battery voltage and capacity, BMS, inverter, cable and fuses to your numbers.
Assemble it safely with the guide
The guide walks through every step of the build, from receiving the cells to the first startup.
Configure your build
Build passport / VERSTAT POWER
Add a load above to see your build.
LiFePO4 build guide
A 35 page guide with step by step instructions on safety, charging, balancing and wiring, refined over two years of client builds and battle-tested by a community of builders.
View the guideFrequently asked questions
- How many hours of autonomy do I need?
- Work out how many hours your appliances need to run without grid power and enter that number in the configurator, it recalculates the required capacity automatically.
- Which system voltage should I pick?
- The configurator picks the voltage automatically, 12.8V for smaller loads, 25.6V or 51.2V for larger ones. You do not need to choose it by hand.
- Why do I need a pure sine wave inverter?
- Motors and compressors, in boilers, fridges and pumps, need a pure sine wave, otherwise they can overheat or fail to start.
- How much does a build like this cost?
- The price depends on battery capacity, BMS and inverter, the configurator shows an indicative kit price right after the calculation.
- Can I assemble the system myself, safely?
- Yes, if you follow the sequence: receiving the cells, balancing, BMS setup, checking the fuses. The whole process is covered in the paid guide.
- How do I charge LiFePO4 correctly?
- Charge it with a charger rated for LiFePO4 specifically, and do not leave the battery discharged for long, charge current and balancing details are in the guide.
